Created in honor of Clifford Cunningham—Steve Ledson’s hardworking cousin who, alongside his brother Ken, devoted his life to running the historic Lawndale Ranch—Clifford’s Block pays tribute to family, perseverance, and the land that shaped them.

Hand-selected from several standout blocks within the vineyard, the 2022 vintage reflects the character of a drought-driven year marked by low yields, an early September heat wave, and exceptional concentration. The result is a deeply colored, boldly structured Zinfandel that showcases the best of Sonoma Valley.

Fragrant layers of ripe cherry and black cherry lead the way, unfolding into notes of blueberry, blackberry, and succulent black plum. The palate is plush and fruit-forward, delivering richness without heaviness. A long, graceful finish echoes with lingering cherry and blackberry, leaving an impression that is smooth, balanced, and deeply satisfying.
